Cleveland cg black driver 2012

Jon G enjoyed hitting it too but both he and pro James felt it was a little closed at address. Ian said he was delighted at how well he hit and how easy it was to use because the set-up really did inspire confi dence.

Meanwhile it was the longest on test for Dave R thanks to the lightweight shaft and hot face. The powerful, towering ball flight will have even the least confi dent golfers excited at the prospect of ripping this off the tee. Superbly forgiving too. All round, a classy product from Cleveland. Looks : 4.

Web : www. I have struggled through injury and getting older with hitting good drives having had a long layoff I found I couldn't hit my Ping k15 for reason I don't know. I tried a Cleveland black and just swung real easy boy it was the best feel Ive ever had with a driver,so bought a second hand one. Do I get the distance I used prior to injury no but not far off and without the effort so consistency comes to the fore, the spin off is that I also swing with ease on my irons so again more consistancy with a little loss of distance I am very happy with this driver and would suggest anybody over sixty tries one.

Long and superb shaft, sleek looking head and very very light grip. Best Cleveland driver ever, and I have had 2 before this one. Additionally, this forgiving stick boasts a higher overall balance point, freeing up golfers to swing faster and rotate the club easier with the same amount of effort.

Will a lighter clubhead help — or hurt — your swing? Wow, looks like this, looks like that,…. Same goes for every product that gets put up on this site. IM going to say that these are a nice looking set of clubs that Cleveland is putting out this year, and I wont go any further because I tend to try things before I go and knock it. And if you honestly think he went to Callaway, designed and hand made every club they sold after that you need to learn your facts of the industry.

Your comment got approved…no feelings hurt. Even if you are an employee of Cleveland or not we let you speak your mind. The census of opinion I feel and hear from others in the past couple years is exactly what I stated…they seem to be following instead of leading. No one stated Roger Cleveland designed or was hand making clubs at Callaway. Cleveland an underdog?

They are far from an underdog, they have more resources and capital than most in the industry which is why they should be introducing their own technologies. Leave the reverse engineering and following the leaders to the smaller companies.

But other then that I would agree that rooting for the true underdogs is good for the industry to some degree. So wait, you are agreeing with us that they look copied. And why are you mad about this? Not even close. It really does appear as though Cleveland has looked at every other golf company for their inspiration for club design.

There does not seem to be any originality in a single one of their clubs coming out next year. How could a company with this much money behind them allow this to happen? Seems like cleveland likes to just copy everyone else…. Notify me of followup comments via e-mail. Sign me up for the newsletter. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
